Leeds City Council have confirmed that all council-managed sports pitches will be unavailable for use this weekend.
A spokesman for Leeds City Council said:
“Given the amount of snow that has fallen and more expected none of the Leeds City Council-managed sports pitches will be able to be used for matches this weekend. Once the situation has improved a decision will be taken as to when the pitches will reopen.”
